So I’m new to this so bear with me please.
I figured out a minimalist way to map out your panels using highlighted partitions so that it alternates colours per left and right side of the page, a different colour for background information, and one for speaking. It looks something like this:
It seems to work for me. It gives me a total of 141 panels without dialogue included, so it may be a little larger than that if I get it a bit wrong. I just know that the last page is going to be one image. Plus I’ve got to add in ten pages of ads so I’ve got to have some fun with that. If it’s digital only I figured I would make them moving gifs like how I would expect “new age” comics to be. Flashy and interactive. I’m still trying to get the hang of CSP so I’ve been reading the manual. It’s still harder than it looks but I’ll get the hang of it.
So now I’ve got to figure out how to fit 6.4 panels per page, or just go with 6 or 7. I think I’ll go with six to keep it compact with addition large splashes just for emphasize. Things like that last shot being a main splash, and perhaps the cruiser to show it’s true size. Perhaps 5 panels per page as the recommendations are suggesting.
